i'm in lodon. the connecting flight was a mess. i almost missed it and my baggage difinately did. i had to wait a few hours for it to come on the next flgiht. wasn't too bad since it took an hour to get through customs! my hostel is pretty nice. i'm in a room of girls and have only met one from vancouver. tomorrow i meet my tour group. i have to figure out how to get there. i'm pretty good with the underground but not the busses.
what ive noticed about london:
girls have very cute shoes
red phonebooths come in twos
some english accents are hard to understand
guards with points on their heads can smile in photos
there is a weird juxtoposition between the way old buildings and the way new ones
there is lots of things to take photos of
the signage is easier to follow than in the states. and all the advertisments are prettier.
british airways is a nice plane to go on. but not in the middle seat.
roads are all cock-eyed, but as long as you follow the thames, its all good
iranis dont like bush (like that is a big surprise)
there always seems to be a long line going everywhere
the city encourages its residents not to drive cars
no taxis are yellow, but some are pink

Some very interesting observations! Sounds like you are having fun!
I understand that in England they don't have lines, they have queues. And there's always blokes standing in them.
You know I wasn't quite sure how to spell 'queue', so not wishing to be embarrased I looked it up. Nearby was a picture of a quindecagon which is a geometic figure with 15 sides. Basically it was a circle.
I've played six successful games of Sudoku. Thanks for teaching me.
Your observations are keen. Loved reading about them.
